Kuwait collection for Petrofac

UK contractor Petrofac has collected a new contract with Kuwait Oil Company for work on new oil and gas pipelines.

Petrofac said the deal worth KD116.39 million - US $400 million – covers engineering, procurement and construction services related to the new oil and gas production lines, and incorporates work on a new oil pump station, utilities and electrical, instrumentation and communications systems for the Mina Al Ahmadi field connecting to two Kuwaiti power station, Azzour and Shuaiba.

Work will take nearly two years to complete.
